Individual interviews typically last for approximately an hour or two, where I will ask questions about your life, trying to pull out what has been most special to you and/or your loved ones. I will also play various types of music for you, so that you can pick the style of song that you would like. I may also require a written questionnaire.
For group processes, the process varies, but I will usually do a combination of interviews and questionnaires, depending on the number of people involved. Group songs require a point person, who will contact participants with the form, and who I may have follow-up questions for.
For other types of songs, interviews and forms depend on the song type and process (individual or group).
Yes! Live performances are available for an extra cost, depending on availability. I would love to come and perform your song for you and/or your loved ones. Just let me know at the time of your booking when and where you would like to have your song played, and we will make a plan.
The recording process varies in type and length, and your choose the level of complexity of production. I can make you a simple recording fairly quickly and inexpensively, but you may also choose to add extra instrumentation and production. You may choose the number and types of instruments, the type of vocalist, and the all around level of production.
Cost varies, depending a number of factors including the number of people involved in the interviews, the level of production you choose for the recording, and if you choose to add a live performance. Please get in touch for a quote today!
